Location. In a residential area southwest of central Amsterdam, the modern HEM Hotel comprises three interconnecting buildings and is located just off the A10 ring road, four kilometres from the city centre, and 10 kilometres from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS).
Hotel Features. Guests with laptops can check emails throughout the hotel through the wireless Internet service. A PC with Internet access is also available in the lobby (both cost EUR 10 per 24 hours). Five multifunctional conference rooms with audiovisual facilities can hold functions of up to 220 people. Onsite parking is available for over 50 vehicles, charged at EUR 10 per 24 hours.
The HEM Hotel Amsterdam features a large bar where guests can enjoy a game of pool or darts, or watch live sports events on the big screen television. The bar offers a selection drinks and snacks, including draft beers, traditional Dutch fried croquettes and light meals. A patio area opens during warmer months. The dining area serves buffet breakfasts and an ? la carte lunch and dinner menu.
Guests can hire bicycles at the hotel to make the two-kilometre ride to Vondelpark, which offers extensive cycle paths and plenty of grassy areas for picnics.
